If I wasn't already driving 7.5 hours to Glenville, WV this Friday and then staying in Harrisonburg June 21-23 I would drive down there. Plan to hit up Flagpole and any other spots I can find around Harrisonburg

The previous ones mounted to the hood hinge. The Rago ones do not. They are stationary when the hood opens. So you have to trim the windshield cowl.

I didnt mess up mine. Took me an hour for total install. And thats with plenty of breaks and not moving fast in this heat. Started around 9, finished around 10. For me, i had to hack up the wiring harness, because i have an sPod, and i dont need to fish anything through the firewall. Also dont need any of the relays or fuses because they are built into the sPod

 

Sounds like that sPod is a godsend. I am guessing you only need to send one set of wires through the firewall and everything else stays under the hood?

 

Had the same brackets, and loved them. Going to go the same route eventually.

 

Ah ok got ya. Yea they are pretty basic setting up, but I forgot that yours attached to the hood. Its unfortunate there isn't a way to save the cowl piece from being trimmed, but it is what it is.

 

I swear by it. But im upgrading to the touch screen one in my own group buy. Now ill be able to have 8 accessories attached, able to dim and strobe any light attached. And some lucky nova person is getting my current one for cheap!
