My AAL was just fine before RTT. Had to get 5125s when I went to Dakars.

How was the rake before the bumper?

The reason i'm going with an AAL is because I have a brand new pack due to the TSB. Plus, the only weight in the back that will be added, eventually, is a steel bumper.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
FWIW, my pack went near flat even with an ALL. And I had no additional weight in the bed.

I think i'll just get the AAL and deal with it if the pack goes flat later. You never know, a RTT might be something added too :spy:

It took about 2 years for it to go flat. So you have some time to save up for that dakar

Yep. Plus, new tires are going to be a necessity here soon. I'm picking and choosing my battles right now.

    @Acerwin

That 1st gen I mentioned to you is a basket case. Not only is it a peerunna but it has a salvage title. I ran away.

Don't get me wrong it looked clean but I was reminded of a story involving lipstick and a pig.

    Salvage isn't always bad

    unless it's flood salvage

I've seen a bunch of salvage vehicles, or total loss vehicles that have little more than body damage but the appraised value before the loss is low due to mileage or whatnot

Scott remember that salvage 1st gen i linked you? the collision one?

It really doesn't take much to total loss a 1st gen due to age and normal mileage

    agreed

$6700 for a peerunner regardless is too steep

If you're gonna make a trail rig out of it I'm sure the only thing you would use under neath it would be the frame. So 2wd really wouldn't matter that much. I did check but it had trd OR stickers .

I think I'd call @Matic 's truck better than the average peerunner

plus no salvage title, and you know it's been properly care for
