6 weeks past my 4 week time told by Zach. Will be at 10 weeks. I'll be missing my trip for sure. Not too happy

Guess I'll just have to plan two more in it's place now ... haha

It took 6 months to get mine after a 6-8 week lead. So 10 weeks waiting is nothing

    Yeah. I give up.

I'll let y'all know when it's in. Last post about this.

Told Zach was on a timeline. Was emailed back 4 weeks in response acknowling my timeline.

    April 14 : Ordered
    May 12: 4 weeks
May 17: told racks would ship later that week. That was a Wednesday.
May 26: Week later. Checked in again. Past a weeks time.
May 30: 2 weeks past his "later this week" time. Check in. Emailed back his press broke. Things happen. Won't fault him there. But makes me question how I was supposed to get my rack to begin with for the later that week reference.
May 30 (cont): was told a bunch of racks were shipping out tomorrow or Thursday.
June 3: 2 days past the Thursday. Asked if I should be looking for a shipping notice.
June 7: Asked the same question again
June 9: emailed saying I need some sort of update on what's going on here

Now: radio silence though he logs on almost daily.

Monday I canceled my trip. Was told 4 weeks. Figured 6. Also figured 10 weeks was enough wiggle room with a 4 week time. Guess not.

Still looking forward to this rack. But I work insane hours, and haven't had a vacation in 3 years. Kind of bites. Everyone knows his lead times are off. But it kind of sucks when you're told 3 times your rack will be in time for the trip and then ultimately it isn't, all while this first message sent was "I'm on a timeline and need to plan accordingly " "About 4 weeks for tacoma racks"

Good luck everyone else. I wouldn't be discouraged from ordering the product. It's a sick rack. Just under no circumstance order it on a timeline, even if he says he can make it.

I hope Zach is doing alright. I haven't seen him on here in a while. Might have had some stuff come up and that is part of the reason lead times are off right now.

What kind of trip has to be canceled over a roof rack?

    Oh nice
I mean I'd care. Doesn't mean I don't want an update, but I think it's still alright to hope someone's okay

I'm guessing they have a roof top tent to be installed and couldn't use it

Fishing. 3 locations aren't maintained roads. Bed is loaded. Cab is loaded. I've done this trip 2 times before. Once with the kayaks tied off multiple points with foam blocks, and another with thule racks on my old gen 2. The thule racks worked ok. But since half of the time on these roads are spent on 3 wheels, I had issues with the foam blocks moving. Normally I go for a long weekend. Was excited to take the whole week this time.

Thule rack was sold with the other truck. A nice couple asked about them and I knew I was planning on getting this rack anyways.

Always worth the 30 minutes driving the last 2 miles at this joint.

Ordered myn April 13th and literally the same exact story from Zach. It's bs when he responds with a message and never follows through with shipping the rack. When I purchased website said 4-6weeks...... week 9 now still no rack just the good old activated tracking number tactic since June 7th .........

Damn I feel bad that some people are having to wait that long! Well I hope the guy is doing alright. Last year he did a group buy and got most of the racks out pretty fast. I really hope he doesn't give up on it, I hoping to buy a canopy rack to match my cab rack sometime. Sounds like he needs some employees! Doubt a GB is coming anytime soon since the lead times are pretty long.
