Got the air brush out last night and decided to repaint my front fancy parts. Took me forever to actually get this done because I was having a hard time figuring out exactly how to get the white and red in the TRD logo to pop. All the model paint I could find was very dull and had no gloss. It looked like crap when you have something put on with a brush inside of air brushing, you see every brush stroke looks horrible. The other day I was at my buddies shop and he has a vinyl sticker making machine, gloss white and gloss red vinyl sticker. He gave me some scraps I can cut to perfect size.

Like a tard last year I did not clear coat seal them, so they did not last even a year before needing to be redone. Clear coat a gogo this year after I do a little sanding and one more coat tonight of orange.

My 2013 had a lot of surface rust on the frame from the winters up here. Nothing bad, just ugly looking; my Dakar's were rust brown and the exhaust looked pretty poor as well. I bought some Krylon rust paint and high-heat exhaust paint in rattle cans. Spent the better part of two days sanding and prepping the rear half of the frame, axle, suspension, and exhaust, then sprayed. 100% improvement IMO! Now it's time to move on to the front.

Well I did this this morning. Started tearing stuff off without knowing what I'm going to do.

Thinking on 4 linking the rear and running ORIs but I didn't know about performance with weight. Running bumpers, sliders, roof rack, kayaks, camping, and recovery gear..etc. anyone with experience running weight with these?

Hey, I only have one 2 wires out of place lol...

Yeah i wanted to reuse the original but the battery is narrower and taller so the J books need to be longer and the tie down needs to snug up to the battery better... and i needed something to get me through until I got around to making it work... I will probably either cut a section out to make it the right size or use the crappy plastic one until I get around to ordering a cage from Pelfreybilt

Yeah... It scares me every time I pop the hood. I have a 250 amp bus bar coming in soon for all the positive connectors.
