There is a small dent in the rear tailgate of my 05 Tacoma about the size of a quarter. No damage to paint. I know it is small but I bothers the heck out of me. You can only see it in certain lighting. What is the best way to remove the small dent?

As seen on TV. The Ding King. LOL Don't waste your money

The inner tailgate skin hangs down below that dent, so it's not going to be as simple as taking the protector off and wacking it from the back. A PDR guy could definitely make an improvement on it, but there's going to be a limit on how well it looks. The metal is surely stretched. You really have only 2 choices. A PDR guy and accept the results, or have a body shop fix it and repaint.

I put a small dent like that in my tail gate last year. It's hardly noticeable, and I forget it's there most of the time.

I feel like a dented tailgate is part of owning a truck. Just like a broken screen is part of owning an iPhone.

Just pay a PDR guy to get it out I bet it is less than $100.

A good PDR guy is like a magician, might be worth it.
