I go to praxair. I'm actually getting rid of a 20# co2 setup if anyone is looking.

 

If it's a aftermarket bottle, I go to Central Weld since it only cost me 20 bucks and they do it on the spot. If I had a regular bottle, I would go to any Praxair location since I work for them.

 

It's an old steel bottle that is probably needs to be re-certified. I think it has a Praxair sticker on it, would they just swap it out with a different bottle?

 

Probably just swap you for a full one. I've not seen steel ones tho so im not sure if they would take that.

 

I used to get mine filled at Central Welding in Lynnwood for under $20 it was great, but now I'm in Bonney Lake so I need to find a new place to fill my tank. They will only fill certified tanks.

I like what you did @busmup808 I might mount my tank on my rear gate too now that I've seen yours.

 

I think my tank is a leased tank from one of the gas suppliers (I need to check the label/neck ring to see who the owner is). In the past I just brought it in to the homebrew store and swapped it for a full one. I'll try Airgas in Kent since they are on my way home from work. It looks like they charge $24.43 for 20lb.

So, you can pickup a decently clean LC for about $6k, and I just found two complete donor trucks with a 12V Cummins that were both under $4k. What's the other $30k get you? Does the drivers seat have a built in fellatio dispenser?

 

My dream rig! Would....if I had that kind of money.

Edit: I wonder if those new Cummins crate engines would fit in there.

I wonder who did that swap... Looks clean, like something TorFab would do, but if they did it I would imagine that would be a selling point...

I cannot think of a single spot. The first 1/3 of your trip and the last 1/3 of your trip are the only places that would have anything. One you may as well leave the next morning, the other you may as well keep driving.

Maybe Millersylvania State Park just south of Olympia? It's small, and nothing to see. Close to the freeway though.
