Flat-Nasty off-road park and Moonlight Racing off-road park are both well rated Missouri locations that we go to regularly.

A few of us are registered to participate in the Appalachian Toyota Round-Up at Windrock Recreation Area in Tennessee over Labor Day weekend.

Basically go west if you want something worthwhile.

Flat nasty and moonlight are nice parks, flat nasty is better imo. The ozark NF is a close area that offers a couple hundred miles off road but it's just dirt roads, plenty of camping available. Land between the lakes is supposed to be nice, never been so can't really say.

Doesn't appear as if anyone has ever wheeled at Washita or S.M.O.R.R. SMORR is an outstanding park; very well run and very well kept. Washita is a great place but it's only open for extremely limited events now. In my opinion, Flat Nasty is a lot more fun if you have a buggy or a beater that you don't mind tearing up. SMORR is way nicer for a wide variety of wheeling and NOT tearing up your rig.

So here is the overdue update.

The initial estimate for repairs came out to $10.2k, expecting a supplemental to be sent once they finalize everything which will put it in the $11k range. The one bright spot in all of this, I am having the cheese grater on the front end replaced with a Pro grille, and for an additional $250 am replacing the wheels with this options.

I've have some friends say some good things about smorr just never bothered since it's a pretty good drive away just for a park. Plus if your going there to not tear up your rig you might as well make the short additional drive to Ozark NF.

Dude, I have bought it today if I thought my wife wouldn't fire me when she saw it. Went to talk about putting a deposit down on a 2018 KTM 2 stroke that is coming out and ended up riding the 350 4 stroke around on their back lot and really dug it. Perk is that I can get tags on the 4 stroke if I want and legally ride it on the street. Just gotta see if the transplant team would kick me out if they knew I was riding.
