Thanks dude! It's certainly come a long way since October. Few more items to check off the list but one of those items isn't even released yet

Did you remove the old and install the new yourself?

They replace the factory upholstery. Probably looking in the 1800 dollar ballpark for this configuration

The wheel studs have enough thread length available despite fitting an almost 1"+ wide spacer. That's interesting to notice. Incidentally, what was wrong with your older tires?

Not sure we're seeing the same thing. Those "spacers" (more technically, adapters) have studs of their own. The second photo shows more accurately how they attach to the existing wheel studs. Between each stud you'll see the nut that holds to the factory studs.

While ago I installed some beefy Dodge (mopar) D-Rings on the truck bed. Applied the correct torque spec found on forum but can't recall but must have been 55 lbs.

Im anycase, today got these 1/4" steel (SR12 2400#) D-Rings to install around storage box (4 each sides) located towards the tailgate. Anyone know what the torque spec is on these bolts?
    Thanks!
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/1116806199

    * Update #1:
All these bolts losened with ease. I mean with incredible ease, didn't apply much pressure if any. Afterwards I just tightened these more than they were before. Will get a torque wrench later & look into exact torque spec later. Added the installed pics.

My goal wih these is just to secure gas can or whatever stuff.

Update #2: (page 3-4 screenshots attached)

    https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/ins...574270072cb15_sidestoragebox'05tacomaissa.pdf

In this 2005 Tacoma side storage install documentation, it says:
On page 3 for removal, calls it M6 screw:
    >>>"(e) Remove top forward M6 screw of the vehicle bed side storage box frame and install bracket using the same screw that was removed. Snug the screw down but do not tighten completely. (Fig. 2-3) "
    On page 4:
    >>>"Tighten the M8 bolts to 88 lbf-in (9.9 N-m) and the M6 screws to 44 lbf-in (5.0 N-m). "

So it looks like I need to tighten it to 44 lb torque spec.

Use a torque wrench to loosen them. Start at 20 ft-lbs and increase setting 5 ft-lbs at a time until they loosen. If takes 40 ft-lbs to loosen then torque back to same.

They might only have a 35 ft lb torque rating. I have seen others on tw that added rings in the same spots. Maybe search d rings in 3rd gen forum. Sorry assumed they were still attached. Could always go to dealer parts dept for torque specs.

I still have mine. Many bass later. Although now I mostly use casting reels. I have a couple of Daiwa spinning reels that are 35 yrs old.
