So I was talking to a diehard VGK fan who said "Can't wait until my team takes the ice, they'll win the cup first season guaranteed !"

... I mean it could happen ? ..I guess, if all the new players they get, gel just perfectly.


If it's not LA, I'm guessing one of the Canadian teams represent the Western Conference this upcoming year.

The real fans will show up ... can't be that many poser fans like say a city like Los Angeles has. When I see those types, I tell 'em they should follow Anaheim.

Oh if they do, someone is getting paid. But i cant see it happening. They will have strong goaltending and probably average (at best) fwd/def units. Playoffs would be a huge goal. Cup is maybe a pipe dream. I dunno lol.

It would be a first. I remember when Anaheim started, they had a good squad ... enough to attract new fans anyway (and LA posers -good riddance) but no where near cup contention.

Well I'd say their defensive unit is 1 of the best in the league. There is no way Vegas will have anything even close to that.
