I have an 01 Tacoma. My hot/cold selector switch is not pushing or pulling the the heater control valve. It is the dial one and not a slider there is no resistance on the cable and the control valve is not bad. I've unhooked the cable and it still won't move while turning the switch. What's the cure for this? I've searched google and everything that comes up is pre 01 witch is a different system.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Did you try removing the knob and seeing if it's damaged? Sounds like you're going to have to do what we in the auto industry call "tear down and inspect"

Nobs good, just looking to see if anybody else ran into this and knows a solition. Judging by the first comment I'm better off diving in instead of looking for people that have dealt with a similar problem.
