It was my first trail I ran stock. Just have to pick your lines and take your time. Maybe someone else can chime in.

I'm relatively novice and I had no troubles. I have 2" lift front and rear. Also with a dclb sport.

This. Plus having semi-experienced people around helps.

On an atv trail 27* rocky/muddy slope with a 14" rut to one side, going downhill. I get my wife to step out and help me down. The extent of her help was her pointing and yelling "the rock". I would imagine shit's easier with someone experienced around.

I'm not gonna lie, this trip and all these purchases recently have my wallet a little stretched. I know I'll be tight for a while when I get back. That being said, shrooms taught me that all we really have are our experiences. Might as well try to make all the good ones we can.

Yea I am lucky that I live in off road heaven. 20 minutes and I can do what ever I want. The wife has told me I need to throttle the truck spending, as it is not going anywhere. Rushing to get everything all at once will result in getting things I dont want or need.

PPfffftttt I hate the voice of reason. :annoyed:

So on that note, my wallet will not enjoy the fact that we have an Off road / Custom fabrication shop moving from Alberta to my city in Ontario. They have already posted on the local off road group facebook page. They make RTT's that are very well made, to the same dimensions as the major brands, so you can buy the covers and such for big brands, and they all fit their shit.

I have already started talking and getting ready for them to make me a bed rack (eventually for a RTT), and a rear dual swing out bumper. They are not even in my city yet. I have a problem.

It looks like I can make to this "meet and get stuck" weekend lol.
Although I'll be going with my highway tires and stock suspension, but I've got good tow points on the front( thanks to Mobtown-offroad) and back, plus maxtrax boards.

If I don't get all my shit installed I may not make it out. I have seized nuts on the hard lines for the rear brakes. Without getting that off, I can't install shocks or blocks... I also can't get a proper alignment until I get all my suspension components on. Fuckin first world problems....

I'm likely heading up very early Saturday morning. My son may be joining me with his 90's short box dodge diesel. It's a beast.

We'll have to figure out how we all come together for the trail ride.

Sweet! Sounds like we're gonna have a bunch of different rigs coming up. We just have to pick a time to meet at the beach and go from there.

Well... Found a way. My neighbor who has far more experience than I with all things mechanical brought by a vice grip style I've never seen before
    images-4.jpg
With this thing I was able to grab the hard line bolt and loosen the soft line off of it. I bought copper nickel line, connectors, and rented the flare tool in anticipation of the line snapping. I learned how to double flare, measured and ran the line, just to be prepped for worst case. Cranked the shit out of the rusty hard lines and won. Extended brake lines are on. Tomorrow suspension, Monday alignment. From what I know as of now, I'm reaching.
    :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:
For those that need to bleed brakes with rusty bleeder valves, my neighbor saved my ass once again. Stick a drill bit or Allen key in the bleeder valve (has to be snug) while your loosening it to prevent it from collapsing onto itself from the torsion.

This is a good question? It's about a 2.5 hour drive for me to get there and about another 45 minutes to arbdeg. All depends when the guys want us there to hit the trail.

Who is meeting at the Tims? I don't want to say meet there super early if people are coming from super far.
