It is a legit question, I have never looked at them. Sounds like the car version of our trucks ha.

I can't see myself driving a car again unless it's high end luxury. Maybe because I drove a old civic and a Altima in college and don't want to go back

Subaru: Owned by Fuji Heavy Industries with Toyota a minority partner.

Tesla: Toyota is a minority partner. Partnership with Daimler AG.

Toyota Motor Company owns: Lexus, Scion, Daihatsu and Hino Motors, with a stake in Fuji Industries (Subaru's parent company) and Isuzu.




and the reason these all suck:

Fiat owns: Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Ferrari, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Ram and SRT.


and the worst of them all:

Hyundai owns: Kia.

 

Oh shit! I forgot about tesla, I really want one of those especially if I ever have a job drive into a city.

 

basically all the badass reliable stuff is Toyota haha. there is more badass, less reliable, but who wants that?

lol that is my very simplified, fast google search list. I could fine tune it.

 

For real though, VW products are totally reliable. People are just scared of the work involved and the price to do it at. Most people that drive Audis or Porsches have no idea what they're looking at under the hood and then just bitch that their car "is broke and I'm trading it in" because it has a squeaking belt.

 

My wife's VW has a small oil leak at 52k...

 

I can't speak for VW, that's why I didn't include it in my list. Only ones I've ever been involved with were old ones friends owned (golfs, rabbits, etc.) and they all had issues.

 

And tacoma third members are exploding. So. Hahaha

 

Anyone know if discount tire normally runs a 4th of July sell?
