My truck didn't come with one and I found a seller that has one. I was wondering if it's worth getting or should I look aftermarket (if any exist). Thanks.

Note: I plan to add a TRD s/c later in the year so I figure keeping the oil temps down would help.

The second answer is, yes, there are plenty of aftermarket oil cooler options.

I think everything should have a cooler, especially for slow wheeling.

Its a good thing to have, but it depends on how much he is charging you. Most dealers sell the OEM cooler for $500. You can get an aftermarket kit for less than $100.

So, how much are you getting it for?

$300 is a steal for an OEM.

    There are a few parts.

    Sandwich plate.
    Two hoses.
    Thermostat housing.

    That looks complete.

    Good Buy.

You will need to swap out the thermostat. As I remember you have an X-1.

I suggest you use the Toyota silicone for this and you it on both sides of the thermostat.

    The dealer.

Torspd hooked me up with it.

A lot of people have leaking problems with the X-1 thermostat. The people that use the Toyota stuff (apply it both sides of the thermostat) do not have problems.

I used it. So far so good.
