    Does the 3rd gen Taco have a filter on the windshield fluid tank?
    My 91 Toyota truck had one.

    No it does not. At least not on my 16 TRD OR, but I live in Canada and our trucks are slightly different than US.

    The only thing I can think of would be to prevent the fluid bottle plastic/paper seal from falling in the reservoir in the event that it wasn't fully removed from your washer fluid jug and your filing the washer fluid tank. But what do I know......
