Ok so we have 3 guys bringing a grill to cook on in exchange for food and beer... (this is important so dont back out! And dont forget propane! )
4 people are bringing food to cook in exchange for beer... (I can bring some sides or something for the tacos, ie couple onions, guac, or some tortillas)
And 8 people are bringing beer in exchange for food...
That is a total of 15 people, but the poll says that 18 people are showing up... Looks like a couple people wont be eating...

Also since its getting close we need to start dialing in on who is bringing what as far as food goes...

    So things needed...
    • Food needed...
      • Tortillas
      • beef
      • chicken
      • guac
      • salsa
      • onions
      • cilantro
      • bell peppers
      • what am i missing??
    • Drinks needed...
      • water
      • beer
      • sodas
    • Other stuff...
      • shade canopy? (I have a janky 12x12)
      • plates/forks/paper towels
      • trash bags!
      • Chair!
      • bike (if you are going on the bike ride...)
      • Money if you want to buy some of my brackets! :burp: (let me know in advance if you want me to bring you a set)
Let me know if i am missing anything here also.

Please chime in with what food you are willing to bring so that we can make sure we get everything we need for Tacos & Tacos.

Going to houston next weekend so it depends on my arrival back if i am able to make the meet. Dont want to put my name down for something and then not be able to show up. I'll probably end up bringing beer

I was planning on making shredded brisket, it will be cooked ahead of time (10 hour slow cook) then will need heated up at the park.

    @Zac of all trades

    • Food needed...
      • salsa - I am making a Tomato-Chili hot sauce for the tacos, not chips and salsa kind. Will have Ancho Chilis, Tomatoes, Chipotle chilis in it. A little kick in it, but not crazy.
      • onions - I can prep these beforehand and bring them
      • what am i missing?? CHEESE! Need some of that good white cheese!
    • Drinks needed...
      • water - I keep my fridge stocked with water
      • beer - More than likely won't drink but one or two with the Tacos as I have to drive and such.
      • sodas - I don't drink these
    • Other stuff...
      • shade canopy? (I have a janky 12x12) - Can bring mine if needed along with the weights and such.
      • plates/forks/paper towels - Best would just be a box of mixed plastic forks/spoons/knives, and like a thing of 30 plates?
      • Chair! - Will Bring Mine
      • bike (if you are going on the bike ride...) - Yep...
      • Money if you want to buy some of my brackets! :burp: (let me know in advance if you want me to bring you a set
So I can do the salsa for Tacos and the white onion as that would be easy for me to prep the day before and bring with me since I will be coming from Tyler and will have worked the day before.

You can put me down for plates, forks, paper towels, & trash bags as well.

Not sure how much beer we will have but if you don't bring a cooler feel free to toss it in mine. I'll try to get there a bit earlier and stake out the parking spots. Should be plenty of room we can move around if we have to.

And if anybody wants to show up earlier to get a couple of extra loops in let me know and I'll be there.

Also, just tossing this out. If anyone wants to hit northshore (other side of the lake) we could meet up at my place and hit that trail before coming back to the south side for the actual ride/meetup.

    Truck stuff
I'll have a cooler with plenty of beer and bottles of water. I can bring anything else that we are lacking if I know with enough time to get it.

I'll bring my small propane grill but I think the other two guys have a bigger setup than mine. I also thought about making a pot of queso cause that's about all I can cook.

Thanks for that actually, but if you can make it just make sure you dont show up empty handed! haha

That sounds good! I figure the cooking will just give us more time to hangout and BS...

    :bananadead:

Sweet! I will put you down for onions and salsa!

I will put you down for those items. I will have my trasharoo on my truck so i will have a trash bag also.

Anyone have an recommendations on some 34" tires?

Wanting to sell the current tires I have since they have a lot of tread left on them and move up in size to a 34"

    Looking at possibly a 315/70/17 E rated KO2.

Was thinking about maybe going with a General Grabber X3 in a E rated as well, but not sure

I assume that an E rated at that size is pretty much needed...

Cooper has some good tires. Unfortunately you are limited when you want a C load with any offroad tire, but I too want to run C as well.

Yea, I was thinking about it and may just go with an E rated tire instead of a C rated.

Won't give me as much flexibility, but will make the side wall stronger for rocks and such.

Right now here is what I am looking at...

    265/70/17C (31.6" Tire) CURRENT TIRE

295/70/17E (33.3" Tire / 1.7" Diameter Diff / 1.2" Width Diff) General Grabber X3 with the Red Lettering - $224 each at Tire Rack
315/70/17E (34.4" Tire / 2.8" Diameter Diff / 2" Width Diff) BFG KO2 with the Black Letter - $259.00 Each at Tire Rack
315/70/17E (34.4" Tire / 2.8" Diameter Diff / 2" Width Diff) General Grabber X3 with the Black Lettering - $248.00 Each at Tire Rack
