Yup...it's off the old 17 between Ridgeland and Hardeeville. I always use the back roads down here to avoid 95 during holidays and weekends. That "rest area" at MM17 isn't one with facilities...its a truck area for rigs.

Why have I not thought of this doh...might have to make a purchase soon now but your color can pull it off, i doubt the silver can.

Edit: I don't have the lip on the bottom of the tailgate so I don't think it'll look good. No go for me. You're keeping it original!

I couldn't completely remove the residue when I debadged so I'm going to paint them black and stick them back on the doors and rear. I don't think it'd look 100% if I start adding extra stuff to the rear. I'll just envy your's from a far

"Do they have to be alive to collect the money?"

The comments on this sighting that has been confirmed it NOT being the two escapees is funny. That there be good 'ol boy country...probably don't want to steal too many pickup trucks there! :infantry:

I've thrown everything at it short of a buffer, since i'm not too good with them and probably would screw my paint to hell.

When I debadged mine I used Goof Off Pro. That helped a little but you could still see the outlines. Then the detail dept. at work buffed the truck for me. Even that it was still there. They then used some heavy duty wax that removed most of it. You can still see it but it's very very slight.

Ya? Any chance your family knew Ed and Marry Mayhugh? G'ma still lives out on Chattooga Lake road off of 28 not too far from the baptist church and post office.
