Vinyl wrap for Barcelona Red Metallic????

Anyone have or know of a vinyl that is spot on the same color and flake as our Barcelona Red Metallic on our 3rd Gens? I ordered a test swatch but not the same but close.

Attached is the vinyl swatch I ordered online from 3m as a test. It was the closest color I could find. However, there is much more metallic flake than in Barcelona Red paint and it also is a darker red. From afar it looks almost spot on but up close it's a very noticeable difference.

What are you looking to do with the wrap?

Try Oracal 951M in 368 (dark red metallic). I have not seen it on a BR Tacoma in person but my customers have said that it is spot on.

 

You can bet various vinyl (or other materials) wraps for a vehicle to go on over the paint, kind of like a table cloth, if you will. You can cover parts of the vehicle, or the entire thing if you want to spend the $$$. One of the many options for paint protection.

Just ordered as 12x12 sample of:
Oracal 951M 368 (dark red metallic) & Oracal 951 367 (Red Metallic)

I'll post back if either of those are an identical match to the paint.

Where did you order your sample from? I've used MetroRestyling, but they send a much smaller sample.

Sooooo.... The vinyl I ordered above was not the correct match to our paint color. The first vinyl I ordered in the original post was a closer match than these two choices.

It looks good, I'd say it would be hard to notice the difference once installed.

 

I doubt you'll ever get one to match 100%. I'd go with what you got. The bumper has the black plastic on it separating it from the tailgate. I'm confident nobody will ever know the difference.

 

What did you decide on this? What was the best match? I have a BR camper that has the clear coat peeling off. I need to refinish it, but would like to vinyl wrap it instead of going through the headache of repainting it.

Appears to be Oracal 951 number 368 (dark red metallic) as quoted above. Amazon has it.
