I hope every team doesn't have the 3 stripe thing on the under-arm area (like World Cup). That would be lame. The teams should have their jersey design stay in tact without having to incorporate any of the Adidas stripes. I guess we will see.

 

I noticed the Sportscenter guys are now pronouncing his last name differently since the trade to Montreal.

 

Considering ESPN fired nearly all of their NHL coverage, this isn't a huge surprise.

 

No ESPN coverage stinks. I miss listening to Gary Thorn and Bill Clement. I occasionally hear them announcing college or the world juniors.

 

So Montreal got Drouin in hopes of him to play the role of #1 Center?? Interesting. To me, he is much more suited to play wing. I'm not sure if he is a #1 Center just because he has playmaking ability. He does very little dirty work. I could be way out of line here, but I didn't realize the trade was in hopes of making him their #1 Center. I thought half of the reason all of the TB drama started was because Steve Y and Cooper thought he wasn't an NHL center?

Sens are still looking for a possible trade. Rumors are though that they refuse to keep salary or take on a bad deal so that's probably not going to happen.

Is it just me, or is 16 months a long time without naming a new captain after Eric Staal got the boot? Bothers the shit out of me that they can't or won't decide.
