    It's charging and cold. I'm at pinecrest tonight now and the lake is full and they're letting out as much as they can and there is still a couple of feet going over the spill.

    If I go to pinecrest on the weekend I get here early and leave before lunch. Not usually crowded until lunch or so.

    I've never been to this camping spot but I know that the south fork will be high at least until the end of July. Maybe this spot can handle it :notsure:

    Can drive back to Frazier flat campground. There is a nice wide spot there that might not be too bad.

    next to the site there is some slow water to play in a little, the kids and dogs did last time. but no pools. but is is numbing cold so i wouldnt expect to see anyone trying to take a dip, not until august.

    Yeah that's what we always did, it's awful after lunch. The beach must be a sardine can with how little shore there must be. I'm sure the lake is freezing this time of year as well with as much run off as there was.
