What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

What was the final cost?

 

I did my wife's SUV at the same time but my truck used 54 sq feet of Dynamat which was around $240 and 19 sq feet of MLV vinyl for the floor which was $140 and worth every penny. I am fairly OCD and would like to add another 3 to 4 sq feet of Dynamat to fill in some cracks. Hope this helps.

Yes, black on black with red stich. I thought install would be tricky but it was really easy.

 

I've been contemplating that exact same thing. I'm assuming your truck is Barcelona Red? How does the red match up with the truck? Looks great.

Installed this CBI rear bumper. Shit gets a little too Western round here for a plastic "bumper".

 

Added my new kings and uppers

Getting the uppers replaced was a pain but its all done now and Im pumped! Stoked for a group buy

Are there any videos showing where to place the dynamat sheets?

 

It is and has held up great in my Lexus so I have no reason to think it'll be any different in this application. Its pretty durable stuff

 

I don't remember seeing any videos but there are a lot of pictures on TW and other sites. I posted pictures each time I added Dynamat and many others have also. You can search for Dynamat and find many examples. Hope this helps.

 

Still starting small but these decals are a small detail but well worth it in my opinion !

How long have you had the Lexus? As an Overlanding truck, you will get sweaty, dirty, smelly, etc.
How grimy have you been when in the Lexus, and how much?
Just trying to get an idea of the comparison.
