    Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
    Yep. Get a laser heat gun if you want to be exact. Rear is more important and will heat up more. Will get to 180° or more when they're new. I wouldn't go over that too terribly much.

    I would stay away from speeds over 65mph for any duration in the first 500 miles. Too easy to over heat a new set of gears.

    like the others have said, it's just the spiders spinning.
    Plus, unless the driveshaft is actively engaged, you're only breaking in the "coast" side of the gears, not the "drive" side.
    Like that bitch in 4x4 and simply drive some nice gravel/dirt roads for a few hundred miles.

    Pointless driving is fun, just get a good audiobook and go explore that road you always drive by but aren't sure where it comes out. Haha I spend so much time doing that kind of stuff.

    Factory gears cost like $1,000, as opposed to the $200 aftermarket gears. Much better quality. According to @thefatkid they're heat treated and polished and don't require break-in.

    But you might as well just order a full new Drive shaft from Tom Woods. You'll have a hell of a time finding any parts at all for the DC joint.
