The Lexus only has about 58k miles, so not a terrible amount of use. I usually take it yo the gym in the am, but generally that's the dirtiest I get in that car. However, I am also very anal and never get in my truck if I'm too dirty without at the very least putting a towell over the seat. Got a dog hammock/cover for the back seat as well so for the most part, the seats will be protected any time they risk getting too filthy. I've also got a protective treatment going on them next week as well

    What's up TacoWorld...

    New to the forum...

Since people like pics, figured I'd share some of the things I've done. :muscleflexing:

    - 2017 Taco TRD Offroad
    - http://oemaudioplus.com/toyota/tcd1600/ - Sounds amazing!
    - Bilstein 5100's with Old Man Emu 887 - Rides awesome!
    - Super white LED interior lights with LED Reverse light.
    - HID Conversion kit for headlights and fogs 5k - Can't really tell here but they look great!
    - 285/70/17's BFG's K02 - Ride's smooth:mudding:
    - Fuel Anza D558 - Badass

    - Near future, I'll be installing the Predator Step Bar, CatBack exhaust, and maybe black out the rear bumper.
Overall, very pleased with how it sounds, looks, and rides! Cheers!

Doooooo it!! I've talked to a few people who use their trucks for the same purpose and haven't had any issues with a similar config on the seats. One dude has had his since 2014 and countless overland trips. His truck gets a TON of use and his seats look great. Katzkin doesn't use cheap material, this stuff is super high quality so it should last far longer than the factory cloth

I do, factory heated seats. I opted out of the katzkin heat/cool options for a few reasons, primarily because the cool function is little more than a fan to to circulate air and therefore not really "cool" nor worth the added coin in my eyes

If applied correctly(prep is 99%) it should last a while. The edges are the first to go, just have to make sure they were cleaned properly and vinyl edge lays flat. Also, they make special vinyl protective spray to keep it lookin' fresh and add a wax layer for the elements. I wrapped my 2nd gen and it held up fine. This is also assuming you used a good quality material as well (3M, Avery, etc)

I installed an A'PEXi throttle controller. I ordered the wrong jumper harness(417-A021). I was able to locate a female and male connector and rewired for the correct connector interface. 2016-2017 gas pedal connector is the larger connector.
When in high boost mode. Apexi uses that term. The throttle is sensitive and truck does accelerate faster. Drove 50miles no check engine light
The unit could be program to turn on high boost mode when vehicle is started or stay off.
There's 6 or 7settings from eco mode to high boost.

I think the correct jumper harness is 417-A010.

Second pic is the connector that the tacoma pedal uses.
3rd pic is part # for the throttle controller.

5100s/OME 888s. Dakar leaf pack. Total Chaos UCAs. DeMello Sliders. BAMF Recessed Grille. Prinsu Cabrack and Toprack.
Well... it's been a while since I checked in here so I figured I'd update y'all on my recent mods. Prinsu TopRack, Plano case, WaterPort in the bed (I was planning to mount the WaterPort on the Prinsu Rack but it was too tall to fit in the garage). The lift was done a few months ago (5100s all around with OME 888 coils, Total Chaos UCAs and Dakar leaf pack). Gave me about 2.5" in front and 3" in the rear. Loving the ride and enjoying the truck.
