My bike would do that on hot days, it was because of the rectifier. Common problem with the GSXR of that generation (06-07) because of how it sits next to the headers and gets too hot. I ended up putting a 2008 rectifier on it and relocated it, solved all my problems.

My battery was straight up shot, some how it got a charge over three hours then would drop after a ride 4 miles down the road. Replacing the agm battery is getting old every 2 years, lithium may be next

Sounds like maybe your charging system is killing your battery. I would check the continuity and voltage of your rectifier and stator.

It's not unusual for a battery to get a little juice back after sitting for a few hours after dying.

2 years isn't that old IMO. I think your battery should last longer than that.

The guy at autozone said those battery's are only good for a couple years. I think the one i got last time was for a lawn mower cause this one is smaller. Ill check the volts tomorrow on my day off to be sure

I bought my bike last year, pretty sure the battery was at least 5 years old, would have gone longer if my rectifier didn't poop itself. Learned my lesson the hard way not to buy aftermarket shit from Rick's electric.

Hmm, maybe go with a gel battery? Are you using lead acid? What charge habits do you have in the off-season?

I've been after more of a dirt favored tire. 80/20 in the other direction
