I was looking at buying one and I called an independent guy to come look one over and he flat out told me 'don't buy a hybrid'. He had no vested interest in what I bought, he was a repair guy for campers. He told me in more or less words, it's not if they leak, it's when. All of the used hybrids I looked at had soft floors, especially aroink the corners which seemed to back up his claim.

 

I like the hybrids but I think what you described was the reason Mike stayed away from them

Amazon is buying Whole Foods for $13.7B. That's insane/intriguing.

 

Makes sense when you think about it. I'll warn my dad about towing in the rain. He's got a pole barn that he's storing it in, so no worries about it getting wet while it's in storage, at least.

 

They're a monster now. I remember when they just sold books. Now I get pretty much everything on there, lol.

 

Yeah that much $ is hardly anything to them. They're about to hit $1k per share. Jumped $33 after the news broke this morning.

And their founder is still CEO. That's almost unheard of for a 14 year old company with their success.

 

Weird. Wonder if they are trying to do home produce/ fresh food delivery too

 

Thats what I was thinking, they already have that prime pantry service, its probably doing well so they might be expanding to fresh food and produce...

The one thing they have always lacked is brick and mortar locations. And now they have over 400 across the country. They have been doing fresh food and produce deliveries in certain cities for the last few years. Probably to pilot out a program before they made a jump like this one.

 

Before children (BC) people would ask us when you having kids, and I always responded with "I keep practicing." That pretty much shut them up.

I know, usually by know they've either been voted out or they've cashed in and retired.

 

I am bidding a 2 million sq ft Amazon Fullfillment Center near Manchester airport that when complete will be the single largest building in NH by almost 500k sq ft. That's a big building.

 

He either loves doing this more than any amount of money in the world, or still thinks he can wait longer and cash out for even more.

 

He's worth 85 billion, I don't know if he needs a bigger payday.
