    you don't have to be an expert to keep from being taken advantage of. With everyone having smartphones you can do a quick search and avoid a 9000 dollar mistake.

    Google "6 inch lift Tacoma" -> first shopping results -> $1300, $1000, $800, $650 options. I'd love to pull that up to show the salesperson who tried selling me a $10K 6" lift. I wonder what kind of excuses he could come up with...

    What a fun truck!
    He would say that the labor was an added cost of about $2,000, then alignment was another $1,500, then another $2,000 for a special toyota inspector to inspect each lift member as well as supervise the install, then then then, damn, I can't even think of anything else. Maybe shipping from china?

    You think the dealers did any research, or had a shop slap on some $45 aluminum spacers. Randomly pick some wheels and tires, and then sell it as some custom Offroad package.

    At least you can have your needle bearing constantly replaced under warranty.

    On a positive note they say all the upgrades are covered through warranty. Otherwise warranty only covers up to a 1" lift lol.
