    It was 4Runner tracks with Yakima towers and cross bars. I had 6 torque screw and two bolts mounting it to the camper shell and some how the entire system got ripped off

    Just ignore the the nubies. The parts are out there and it's not really a big deal. Mostly knowing what you are doing and focus.
    That being said, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. Properly and regularly greased OE Toyota joints can outlast the truck.


    Since I wrote this (below) other sources for the ball kits other than Neapco have surfaced and IIRC the later (outside clip) DC u-joints can be had from another source other than Rockford Driveline.

    Spicer, Neapco, Rockford etc all have great online catalogs with dimensions, applications, cross refs and so on. Be aware parts houses like NAPA and Advance frequently list replacements for the DC but they are incorrect, including Rock Auto. Your local driveline shop might have parts in stock, the dinky one here in bum ass Western Co does.

    This. I brought my entire drive shaft with new toyota U joints to a local driveline shop. They knew exactly what I needed for the double cardan and rebuilt the entire shaft. Wasn't a big deal.
