CaliRaised 32 inch Lightbar Question

Ok so my wife is doing me a solid for Father's day and allowing me to pick and choose my poison within reason. I was looking at the CaliRaised 32 inch lightbar with 15k lumens. Looks decent but I wanted to ask if you HAVE to purchase the $70 mounting kit for the front grill mount? I thought I saw a video a while back where someone mounted it without issue utilizing the stock materials. Anyway, Thanks for any input.

Also.. I'm not sure why so many complain about this truck. I absolutely love my 2k17 SR5 v6. The mileage isn't bad, power is good and its comfy and quiet. It's not the fastest but its an actual "truck" truck. I wouldn't dare take the Colorado offroad that I test drive which was comparable in price to the Taco I got. Only paid 28k and don't regret it a bit. Blaze that Blue Pearl...

I installed the 32" light bar which included the mounting bracket and wiring harness. You WON'T be disappointed. BIG time light!

Also to answer op's question, I would Highly doubt you HAVE to buy there mounts for it. I'm sure you can make your own, but it is much simpler to get it all in one package.
