Did a dive trip to Tobermorey many ages ago. Fun place, but I didn't see any of the wooded areas, only the watery ones...

The same shit everyone else has.
Got to use my DIY awning this weekend. It poured Friday night, the tent stayed bone dry.

Looking for suggestions on a 12x12 screened canopy. Everything I see gets poor reviews other than Colman ones. Not looking to break the bank, only use 2-3 year.

    Cheers

I have the Coleman 11x11. It looks like the price has gone up a bit since I bought mine. I paid in the $80 range. It's nice because you simply dump it on the pointy end and sort out the arms. It's easy to move around so you can drop it over a pick nick table. A must have until the woods dry way out and the biting flies and mosquitos abate.

One of my best diving memories was from there. Dove a channel, maybe 30 - 40 feet down and the dive instructor had us stop and wait. Within minutes a float plane landed above us.

I have the Coleman 10 x 10 Instant Screenhouse. 90 and change I think. A good one, easy set up, easy take down.

Is 10x10 enough to cover picnic table and room to move around?

I ask because will be first camping trip with daughter in a few weeks and never needed one before now. Like the idea of having an "in closure" to keep her in while hanging at camp.

It is big enough. Not spacious but, yes. You can get around it with room to spare.
It angles in on top, but that is soft bug netting.

I have ended up using my 10x10 velcro attached enclosed canopy with a Dietz lantern burning Citronella/Cedar oil. Very few bugs and easier to get in/out. very wind resistant, too.
But, it's 200 at Costco. Undercover brand.

9'x9' dining canopy from Gander Mt. They have em on sale for 40$.

It has a shock cord pole X frame in it so its a little more stable than my tarp canopy. The frame lets the 2 poles free stand as well (I'd still use guy lines). The dome will keep water from collecting as well

I have a piece of uninstrut attached to the roof rack bars. The canopy connects to the uninstrut.
