I have a 02 TRD 4X4 with a hole on the back bumper in front of the license plate. Can I tow with this ???? I have a trailer that I transport my Big Dog motorcycle with and I need some help on whether or not I can tow with the bumper on this vehicle ....... Thanks, Dave

hey man just my two cents its a really good idea just to spring for it and get a towing package.....! Those bumper pulls are not a good bed especially if you have a plastic rear bumper like it looks like you have

You can do it but it isn't recomended. If you do just be sure not to exced any of the bumper specs.

I have no idea if it can be done but do you really want to tow your megabuck chopper with just a bumper?
I would say go get a frame mounted hitch and do it that way.

good looking truck by the way.

Don't tow with it. It could be used for light stuff, but the hitch allows you to use bike racks etc.

your bumper should be rated for 3500lbs. And there is a big bent hunk of steel that attaches to the frame. go take a look behind the bumper you will see what i mean.

i would go spend the money just to be safe and buy a reese hitch type of deal. you dont want that motorcycle to be totaled just because you wanted to save 200 bucks just my $0.02
