Headed up to trail ridge rd from winter park tomorrow,any tips or thoughts?

 

any ideas on how to do a tube front end (removing stock front sheet metal) without a cab cage? i have some ideas but i want to see if anyones done it before, and learn something, and make it easier for me.
my issue is solid mounting front frame stuff (core support and the like) to a body that has bushings. no flex + flex = fatigue and cracks. no bueno.
anyone done a front mount engine/front suspension cage tied into the factory cab sheetmetal?

I win! I installed on my T4R last weekend.

It's a high angle ball joint designed and manufactured by Icon to replace the uniballs they use, direct replacement. The more common sizes will be out around SEMA. Sadly nothing for the 1st gen tacoma or tundra.

i went pre-running last fall with these folks. lotsa raptors, but they like to have fun and go fast. i led a slower trail, (part of the oregon trail) and it was a blast.
