I just bought a 2010 Tacoma Dbl Cab - no extra funds for rims until next year's tax return, but I am having a hard time with the plain steel rims.. a few sellers on e-bay have the chrome snap in wheel skins, not sure how I feel about it - does any one have them and would be willing to post some pics as to how they look? They are $53 which is not a lot of money, which is why I am skeptical...

Paint the stockers?? Or wait till you got the funds. No point in spending money on something for the interim....It's just wasted.

    Pretty much stock
if they are what i'm thinking about, there is someone who had them on a regular cab, he took them off and painted the wheels black. You couldn't tell in pictures that they were not actual wheels, i however have never seen them in person.

Here is the thing, I don't mind spending the $50 if they look 1/2 decent because there is no guarantee I will even have tax return money next year, and I don't want to bother with painting the rims, I prefer the grey/silver/chrome look vs. black or other colors. I would love if someone had a pic of a tacoma with these chrome wheel skins on it so I could see far and close up.
