    A guy I used to work with had a Renault R5 Turbo.

    The engine was in the middle and RWD instead of the typical front/FWD setup.

    And its more modern doppelganger, also converted from front to rear wheel drive and powered by the engine from a Taurus SHO, the Ford SHOgun (formerly a Ford Festiva)

    That's why they had problems. They had to stop shipping them that way because oil was leaking in and out of the engines
