Do you have a link to these clips without the slits?

It looks like the plastic fender liner goes all the way to the metal fender? Almost sticks out a little. Am I seeing that right. Did you have to remove liner to remove red clips. Thanks for any input

Flares will break at mounting points? I thought just the clips would break

The mounting points on the flares will break before the clips.

Hmm ok good to know. So you're basically sacrificing flares or at least dont totally rely on clips to put if i wanted to put them back on

Man it's been so long. I did pull out some of the fender liner to get to the clips. I broke several clips, but didn't break any mounting points.
I've since just had my whole rocker panel and fender curve bedlined.

    0-73 HP gains.
I did it for the looks. Some guys do it for clearance for larger tires.

Gotcha. by removing can you automatically fit larger tires without cutting them?

    I wouldn't cut the tires....:D
I would imagine it would depend on the size of the tire and your suspension upgrades.
