Make it possible to coast. These things don't coast. Don't know what it is but 2 seconds after you let off the gas its like an engine brake kicks in.. Converter goes out of lockup or whatever.. and its like hitting the brakes. It will slow itself down on hills that everything else will speed up while going down Its weird. If I had the ability to actually coast without loosing a bunch of speed so quickly and constantly being on the gas, Seems I could get much better fuel economy

I am very interested. Where are these superchargers coming from and can I get a deal on the intake as well plus one time use parts? I just happen to work for the only certified Toyota collision repair center in my state and I am wondering if I could help us get a lower price. What is your time frame on this?

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciate it. I thought that, that might be the discussion, but was not sure. Like I stated earlier, I just bought this truck the other day. It's an "06" model, TRD Offroad, 4x4, DBL Cab, with everything on it supposedly. I know this, it does not come with VSC, which some said was an option that year. I wonder if there is a way to find out all the info on this rig by using the VIN# ??? I believe it had a build sheet in the window when I got it. But when I went to pick it up later on, it was gone.

Thanks again, for all the help & Information you all post on here, it's priceless !!

Subd for cost and further details.

Would you be able to revert to stock in case of a warranty issue?

Very interested. So have you guys cracked the Tacoma ECU encryption? If so for what years and ECU models? Also have you cracked AT tranny TCU? I do not have automatic but others would benefit from recalibrated TCU file I'm sure. Thx.

beautiful this is exactly what we need. Thank you very much.

it's possible for 99% of 2005+ ECUs (and *some* 2004) there is an exception to 2011+ ECUs in certain models (it is a small, completely metal casing ECU in the camry / some hybrids).

AT transmission processor is case by case basis. In most toyotas the transmission code is blended into the main processors ROM, and there is a second processor that controls things like pressures / lag times.

We don't have a price set on this yet, I'd expect around the same as our 11-16 tC handheld, as the ECU is near identical ($449-$499)

List of what we can control in this ECU (the black one in this same post by Norton)
    -Rev limit
    - upshift maps (actual rev limit is controlled by when the ECU says to "upshift")
    - All ignition timing controls
    - All fuel controls
    - Closed loop fuel
    - Open loop fuel
    - Speed limit
    - Sensor scaling
    - VVTi
    - Torque maps for shifting speed
    - Torque request maps for throttle
    - Throttle control maps (which limit opening rate and maximum effective opening angle

and a lot more.. too much to list

Absolutely, we can 100% do all 4.0L 2010+ ECUs, they all look to use the same black plastic top cased ECU. We already have a complete flashing protocol for them.

    A thing or two...
Both. You have to remove the passenger sill plate, passenger kick panel, glovebox and the piece that's inside/on top of the glovebox to get access.
