I don't plan on using my AC system again. Any problem with removing the compressor and the AC exchanger grill and all of that stuff for the sake of ease of working on the rest of the engine, to clear up space?

If your compressor shares a belt with other components, you'll have to figure out how to deal with that.

Other wise it shouldn't matter too much.

It will lower the value of the truck, unless it's older and already beyond normal valuation processes anyway.

No shared belt. Was a BREEZE to change the water pump right through the front grill with the radiator and coolant exchanger removed... :)

The truck has no value now but parts or transportation... no AC etc... 1996 and cosmetically rough.
