    I do recommend the Luminol because you can detect splatter that had been cleaned off. Who knows, maybe it's all over your dashboard, center console, or doors/windows.

    OME and worth every penny.
    A friend of mine inherited a nearly new '77 Cutlass (tan velour, like a couch everywhere) after his brother was chest shot in it. It cleaned up very well and i never smelled anything out of the ordinary. He didn't find it as creepy as I did so he drove for 10 years.

    Compared to that, this one looks like it may have just been a deep arm cut or something.
