My sister-in-law had one of these Peugeot diesel 505. It had a farm tractor motor and nobody knew how to work on them.

The Morgan!!! I first saw that on Top Gear. Then, last year, I saw some guy driving one here in Salem. He totally caught me taking pictures of it like a creeper, so he drove around to me to say hi and let me take a closer look.

Funny thing with the Aztek is that it's probably considered the worst vehicle design/ hated vehicle of all time (Except in Rosie O'Donnell's opinion). However the Buick Rendezvous was built off that platform and no one has much to say about it. I still think it was almost just as bad...

when I used to see those around pretty regularly, half of them had the headlights hard wired permanently open as they'd broken. havent' seen one on the roads in years and years.

I don't think those early Nissan Land Rover/Cruiser clones ever made it to the USA.

I remember seeing one of these parked on the street when I was a kid, some tradesman's work truck, and thinking how cool it was- Apache. Never have seen another since.

    .

They are all Bantam clones :)

Friend of mine has a 67 patrol, and a mkii 88 Landy.

It's a shame we didn't get the Mitsubishi jeeps here. While at their headquarters museum saw some cool willys wagon clones with the nose of a cj3b. Had a diamond star on the grill with "willys" on the cowel.

As for rare/unknown us market toys... Almost bought one of these about a year ago, but the rust was waaaaay too bad.
