What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Im wondering the same. Ive never even heard of these before haha

 

Keeps the composit bed from warping and or the side pulling away/out from the bottom... Wouldn't think it's a issue, but it really is. Was surprised just how much the passenger side bolts kept torquing (pulling in) until they were snug. Especially useful if you have a lot of weight you carry like a topper.

If you ever see people complaining about different size gaps on either side of the tailgate and such, this is what I'm talking about.

Nope, just wanted the added strength and ridigidness (if that's a word). Not a huge fan of the composit bed. Should pair nicely with the soon to be released Mobtown aluminum tailgate cap/tailgate cover combo replacement.

 

Got some help from The Meccanic Shop in North Salem NY.

-Installed these poly bushings to deal with body creak

-Installed the ECGS bushing

-Installed wheeler offroad front bump stops

-Installed c4note fender liners

-Conducted blasphemy and installed the Toy-Tec leveling spacers. It was a must do, I lost over a 1/2 in with the SSO bumper, winch, and dual battery. The wheeler offroad bumpstops were nearly at contact and I was getting a lot of turning rub with 285/70/17.

-and finally, an excellent exhaust relocation





All that's left is to finish my Switch Pro mounting, some aluminum pelfreybuilt skids, and some interior Switch relocation work.

 

Washed the truck and put on the badge inlays and engine cover decals from @rrentrop. Liking how the inlays look with OR wheels.

Swapped out my gray TRD shift knob with a black one from Speed Dawg.


Now my all black interior is complete.
