LUCKY, and what a hell of a find!!! Would love to come across a find like that. Someone was selling one on here, in GA, and I moved to slow on it.

Had to tear down the ass end to instal ATH bedside reinforcement brackets. I can't remove the tail lights with the bumper in place. While I was at it I touched up the bumper and stripped a bunch of rust off the rear of the frame and re-painted it.

And in case you were thinking about using your cutoff wheel without the safety shroud, here's this gem.

Thanks @At The Helm for the brackets!

I saw it posted here, from a craigslist ad, and I texted the guy right away. PayPal'd him that night and TW express did the rest!

If you have jack stands to support them, about 30 mins passenger side, and 1 hour driver side, due to manipulating spacing brake lines. You will need a skinny arm person to engage the front most bolt that is inside of the frame boxed frame.

    A thing or two...
Drove it to town to find a new desk chair. They didn't have what I liked in stock unfortunately, but it'll be here to Tuesday. :woot: Then I forgot to stop at HF to look at drill bit sets.

Oh well, I bought a present for the truck earlier today, but it'll be here in 6-8 weeks. :D

Was going to vinyl wrap my bumper, but it didn't work out because of a few reasons. I decided I'm just going to plasti dip it tomorrow. Ended up using the leftover vinyl to wrap the mirrors. Came out pretty darn good if you ask me! If you ask anyone else though......

PS Don't accidentally grab the acetone tin instead of the denatured alcohol and rub it on your mirror.

Finally done with the Skid refurbishing, after input from this wonderful community I decided to go with spray on bedliner. Pretty happy with how they turned out. Now to fix all the other rust spots before November!

Close up of finished product? I've been debating on painting my factory skid since it's faded now. Was gonna use rustoleum black, but curious to see the bedliner look

I would say black out the Tacoma badge on the side. It should break up the white nicely.

Keeping it pretty stock w/ creature comforts to come in the future.
    -3M Headlight Refurb
    -Replaced Engine Air Filter
    -Replaced Spark plugs
-Installed Dogo No Slide-o Carpet mod in back seat
    -Replaced Tail lights
-Found a little rust around the tail lights so I knocked that out while I was back there

Interested to see what you guys think with these spark plugs. I thought they were pretty bad. All of them were pretty hard to get out and all measured around 70mm.Also, noticed half Denzo, half NGK...no way those were originals right? (I've got 126k on the clock)IMG_3098.jpgIMG_3106.jpg

I'll get you a closeup tomorrow.

I first went with rust-oleum flat black, then went to semi-gloss, and finally settled on the bedliner. I would say that primer and then Berliner would save you a couple steps. I really like how it turned out after seeing all three.

There was a thread here that explained the why. Passenger bank was denso and driver bank was ngk. Replaced mine with all NGK R, and a customers I did this past week went with all denso. Still to this day after all the cars I've worked on over the years the taco is the only vehicle I've seen with 2 diff sets from the factory lol

Right on, guess I was just surprised that no one would've changed them by now. Good to know this is to be expected at this range.
