stock front tow hook

pretty much like new only found one bolt for it 40 bucks + shipping

i can't find one of these on my truck, where does it go?

 

^ in the front pass side, right under the bumper...you dont have one because you dont have a trd offroad...not sure if they come on the spots either...

 

I got a TRD Sports, and they don't come with that front tow hook.

 

i have a sport...it doesn't have a hook, but it has a beefy loop on the driver's side and some other loop-like attachment point on the passenger side that i use quite frequently.

 

I think the loop on the drivers side is intended to be used as a tie town for transporting the truck on a trailer. I wouldn't use it for any type of recovery.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

^ nope your right, i see these on all the cars that come off the boats in hte long beach harbor

 

ah, gotcha. well, it's been more than enough for some pretty rough recoverries so far...but i'll deffinately keep an eye on it now. i always try to use the hitch shackel, but sometimes there's no way around it.

Don't use it for more than pulling your push lawn mower out of the muck - Unless you want a shackle in someone's back window!
