    Hi there!

    I traded in my mercedes benz yesterday for something more reliable, a 2008 toyota tacoma sport. I'm wondering if there is an auto shut off feature for the headlights because after a few minuts last night my headlights were not shutting off so I did it myself. I would think an 08 had auto headlights.

    Please help!

    On my Tacoma, when you open the door to get out, the headlights will go off.......and good luck with the truck.....

    I have a base 07 4x4 (no sport or trd) and I have to turn them off manually.

    ^This. I have an 08 sport as well. Just a side note, if you have daytime running lights (DRLs) you can get those to shut off while the truck is running by depressing the parking brake. Sometimes it comes in handy at night when parked.
