I'm with you. Keep saying I have one move left in me 6 feet underground. But hoping I get at least one more in before then. South. North. Not sure maybe both depending on time of year. I'm dreaming here though.

I'm not understanding this. Usually we have higher temps here than further north. But, as you pointed out, that's not the case right now. Normally it wouldn't concern me so much, but we're experiencing some difficulties right now at one of our recreation sites. It has no grid power, but we have solar and 2 generators to power the host site. One generator I'm not worried about, but it's too loud to run during "quiet hours". So they run it during the day and switch to batteries at night. I'm just concerned this little heat wave (predicted to 125 deg) is going to be too much. Ultimately they'll need to do what needs to be done to stay cool (quiet hours or not), but I'd really like to get things settled and "no hassle".

Always learning new things ... no matter how old I get. Thanks fellas.
I'm trying to be patient and wait for the meat to thaw at room temp, but I may have to speed up the process with some "nuke de frost"...

Yup. Kinda that I-10 corridor and north.

I'm just hoping, between the heat and the over night discharge, the batteries hold up. I had him up the battery maintenance from monthly to weekly so he can keep a better handle on the water...we'll see.

Stay hydrated and don't over do it!

I reckon the water boils right out of the batteries, huh? I never thought of that... my son is very accurate when he says AZ Summer tactics are very similar to AK Winter tactics ... only polar opposite.

The coffee is in the pot for this morning and there's a dozen eggs
boiling for the week. I need to get a few days of meat rations out of the freezer and probably should go get groceries. Fresh fruit and vegetables are low.
