Good wins for the US and Mexico last night.

At think at this point, it is in the US's best interest that Mexico runs the table against everyone else, and the US does their part to "sneak" in without having to play the playoff.

Tons of Europeans qualifiers going on starting today. Portugal plays at 245. Going to be watching it at work, online, on the watch ESPN app. Then we go off to the Confederations Cup.

 

Yanks win 2-1 tomorrow night. Feel like the young guys continue to put it together tactically and carry some of the veterans. Dempsey gets on the scoreboard as well as Pulisic.


Edit: Also a huge United fan. Lindelof is a fantastic signing today for the Reds. #GGMU

 

Who is watching Mex v USA?

 

Thought we sat back and absorbed pressure well. Game plan was to get points out of the game so in Bruce's mind, it's a win I'm sure. Bradley's goal was world class although I hate to say it because he's past his prime. Thought Cameron was our best player. Pulisic wasn't utilized much but got in a couple good situations. He's already great, but in a couple years he's going to be very good.

 

Yeah... that Bradley goal was pretty sweet. Gotta give him that. A point in Mexico is a win for sure, especially in a stadium where you've never won.

 

the best play of the game was that free kick taken by Mexico that hit the cross bar late in the 2nd half....
team usa dodged a major loss last night...

 

I personally think we could have dealt Mexico more damage. A point in Azteca is always good!

 

What a great hit that was....figured most people would say it's "even" after Bradley hit the woodwork as well 10 minutes later. Could have gone either way there. Like I said, I think we absorbed well and just need a point although 3 would have been better it wasn't needed. With the results of the games over the last 5 days we're in position to finish top 3 and that is all that matters.

Was busy with my oldest's play group at 11. Then had my pops and father in law over for lunch, so watched it after. We played like shit. Plain and simple. México's 2nd goal, ridiculous defending. Oh well. Good thing this tournament doesn't count for shit.

 

the first gol had me laughing as I thought cr7 totally had just choked, but then he totally redeemed the play with a great pass lol
Mexico's first gol also was a great one I thought.
I thought it was over at 2-1 but then the commentator said something about Mexico never winning against a european team in confederation cup..
the commentators jinx saved the day with the 91st min point for mexico, not a win but not a loss!

i've been watching all the germany ones, i caught the germany v australia game by putting a "doctors appointment" on the outlook calender here and said ill be back after. haha scheming
