Anyone know if the add a circuit will fit the fuse box under the dash?
That might be easier for my light bar switch illumination.

Which size fuse did you use for the Constant +12VDC wire?

Probably a 5A, not sure I remember specifically. I think the direct wire harness may have had an inline fuse, but it could have been the other harness I ran that day. Sorry.

ok. My dash cam came with the add-a-circuit so I'm trying to decide which size to use.

Are there fuse box diagrams in print for the 2017 Taco? Being an old fart, my eyesight under the dash is limited.
I gave a cursory look through the owner's manuals, and couldn't find one. If it's there, please let me know what page it's on.
I'd be interested in the fuse/relay box under the hood as well. Thanks.

Are you asking for something different than the diagram that's printed on the under-dash fuse box cover or inside the lid of the engine compartment fuse box?

Pictures in post #7 and #11 of this thread we're posting in right now.

If there's a 2016/2017 difference I don't know what it is, but look at your fuse box lids and see if they differ from the 2016 pictures.

I was wondering if there is actually any printed source detailing the fuse/relay boxes that one can use as a reference.
I would have thought that Toyota would have that info in the owner's manual.
But I appreciate those photos you posted. I hope you don't mind that I saved the images and printed them out as my own reference for now.

Not my photos; they're from the cited posts earlier in this thread.

As for a table or printed version of the fuse box layouts I haven't seen one. Might exist, but I haven't seen one.

I couldn't find anything in the service manual detailing the interior fuse box. Does anyone have details about the empty fuse slot below AM1 with the / through it? Is that an empty always on slot for an optional accessory package? If so, does anyone know the amp limit? I'd like to add a BLE LED controller for floor lighting and hook up the switch I bought to my bed LEDs. If that circuit can handle 10+ amps it should be great for the LEDs and a dash cam.

Looks like that / slot isn't hooked up at all. Makes sense I suppose. Guess I'll have to either build a relay box or add a fuse.

I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I'm trying to find where or which fuse manages the fog lights on a 3rd gen.

I'm somewhat stumped with owner's manual and doing searches best I can in Tacoma World. All I found was relay in engine compartment.

I have 2 in 1 fog /drl and fogs not working, though all is connected.

    Any help is appreciated.Thanks

Looks like under the hood, third row from the left, bottom 15A fuse is fog lights.

Thank you. With your help I found the blown fuse. I should admit it and buy readers... too old to see the small print on the fuse box cover.

    I love Tacoma World!
