That's what I'm doing! I watched a video on how to properly use it, and apparently there is a proper way. Highly recommend looking it up.

I hauled a 7ft picnic table that I got as a gift for my father-in-law. I knew I got a long bed for a reason. Thing fit in the perfect & I got to close the tailgate.

What if you remove the chrome covers and wrap the vinyl under the cover to keep it in place? It'll be a little more work but nothing too difficult.

Oh sorry. I thought the mirrors were Chrome before. Yea I would disassemble the mirror and wrap around the entire cover to help hold the edges down. You could even cheat a little bit and use gorilla tape on the back to hold down the edges.

Spent nearly 3 hours washing the truck, wheels, and even tires... Followed up with paint sealant. Then vacuumed and detailed the interior! Looked awesome for about 5 minutes... Then it started raining lol!!!

Acetone won't damage automotive paint once it's cured. Paint thinner would also work. It will strip any wax right off too. I'd would hit those spots with some wax after and you'll be good.

My whole damn truck needs some wax. I swear, the previous owners probably didn't know it existed. Going to wax it once the rain passes in a couple days.

Mine was the same, bought it April 1st and it looked and felt like a piece of white printer paper. Spent two entire days washing, clay baring, polishing and waxing, it looks great now.
