The truck can handle it. Those street tires, maybe not.
I was more than impressed how capable my stock truck was just a few months ago at the LBL meet. Only thing that got me was ground clearance.
I'll have an open seat and I'm sure others will too if you want to just ride along on the hairy stuff

^^^what he said. Trucks are able to take a beating, you NEED tires though. You could probably get to the campsite, there are several creek crossings to get to it but only one will give you trouble with those tires. As for the trails it's almost no go without tires and lift. You could give it a try but you'll risk body damage and holding up the group. @TilTheWheelsFallOff is also planning on braveing the trail to the campsite. We'd love to have anyone who can make it, probably better ride shotgun with someone though.

That's what I was worried about, they've done good so far through some sketchy stuff but my "sketchy" and the tacomaworld wheeling "sketchy" are worlds apart lol, i appreciate the offer to ride along! But the wife and kids would kill me leaving them out, they love hitting trails as much as I do

Steps are hard to sell, I have Westin chrome laying in my yard that no one wants lol. Best focus on the tires.

Awesome info, me and the family are definitely wanting to get out and do more off reading this summer, we have always loved riding outdoors, anything from 2 wheels to 6, but I've never had a truck set up for this kind of stuff so knowlage thrown my way is taken with much appreciation. With the 3 things you listed do you have any reccomendations? Shoot me a msg if u want, I don't wanna clog up the thread.

Yes I need some better tires, I have what they came from the dealership with, which are practically brand new, they are adventuro AT3, I have no idea how they'll perform, better than straight street/road I suppose, looking to get a CB, don't know if I'll get done before this weekend, the other two things I can get
