    Dude, your set-up rocks. You are the first to install on a first generation Tacoma. I agree with the other compliment... that light rocks. I'd love to see that on in person. By the way, I'm jealous. :D

    I just drilled through the bed. It was thick enough where I drilled so I didn't have to reinforce it. Luckily I have pretty small fingers or else I wouldn't have been able to get a wrench back between the bed and cab to tighten it down. It took about 2 hrs but most of that was because my drill decided to stop working for a little while. All in all, I LOVE the outcome of it!!

    Got the LED's from Ebay...I think I paid 150 for it. But stuff like that, you get what you pay for.

    For what its worth I think it would work. I'm going out on a limb here, but if you turn the L brackets around so it looks like this "L" you can mount the bar under the "L" + "_" = Light bar. If you're doing it for light in the bed then I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you're looking for light then you can simply buy the L bracket and mount in on the sides near the tailgate. Another TW member is planning to do that and also plans to install the switch in the bed for accessibility. I'll take a pic and post in a few.
