From what I read it seems the suspension on the xc is more what I want. Also I see a lot of guys complain about the big gap between 2nd and 3rd gear on the xcw. I do think I'd like 1st better on the xcw for the single track riding though.

Its going to be one of "those" days at work, slept I think a total of 3 hours last night, my allergies are killing me, my head is killing me, my back hurts, this must be what @Gramps feels like every day :( If anyone at work gives me any lip I just may snap.

I'm down! Do you have leafsprings and were they in ok shape? My suspension is completely shot and I would totally buy them off you.

Couldn't tell ya I've never been on a husky. I don't know any one that has one either. They are to hard to find here.

I was looking at them, but don't think I could convince myself to spend that. Plus seeing as people are have issues with the newer ktm's that also worries me.

Ktm and husky basically are. Beta is its own thing.

I've been looking at stuff other than ktm, but mostly trying to stay away from Japanese bikes. Which makes the used market extremely slim.

KTM owns Husky. Same bike except for color. I was looking at the Husky 450FX or the KTM 450XC but I will not buy a bike with air forks.

Have you ridden anything with the air forks? They are actually really nice! My kx had them nice to be able to change the valving just with the air pressure.

Is it harder to title a dirt bike on the front range/do they have any inspections?

The sheriffs up here really don't care, basically ask if you have everything you need, and then sign off. Bike still has tail/brake light, and a worthless mirror, but not a horn or DOT tires.

What is the point of working from home, when as soon as you start working from here you gotta run downtown to the office? :annoyed:
