Official 2nd Annual Red River Gorge Meet (Slade, KY)

Yeah I didn't say it was close to anything. I'm just saying if we dont want to pay for a campground and our place to camp was flooded. Just starting to throw out alternatives that I know are big enough for our group size.

 

I'm terrible at planning. I just wing most of the things I do and decide to do lol

but seriously, i might appreciate at least using it since i have a recovery point front and rear and only one receiver shackle thingy... and haven't finished wiring my winch

haha... bad. 255/85's are tall, with lots of sidewall... meaning soft. amazing off road aired down, extended travel coil-overs, and no sway bar

but on road.... let's just say if you're about to hit a piece of retread, don't swerve. hit it.

i would NOT have attempted to tow a car this weekend without my street tires and sway bar. 4k lbs on a double hinge... (the dolly has a hinge on it so the car can turn with you) ... no way.

and i did have to swerve to miss a giant piece of re-tread. not too worried about the truck but it definitely would have ripped the rear bumper off the car!

 

It will change all the way up to a few hours before. Not even going to pay attention to weather until I wake up Friday morning and walk outside.

 

I had a chick coming with me, but now she's not because she thought it was next weekend. Sooooo looks like my buddy may have a new job if he tags along

 

Not even close to married. We dated for 2 years but she is a travel nurse and moved back home to NC to be closer to her dad. We tried it for months but it slowly started shifting the other direction. I still chat with her from time to time so no hard feelings, just bad timing for now.

 

I wouldn't believe the weather forecast until Thursday at the soonest

That's what we're working on. Hopefully mine (Cough) lol. If not it'll be the best photo from last year's pics that will make the cut. Sooooo with that being said, there's a good chance it's 1 of the few rigs from last year going on.

No, I didn't design it. My buddy did. He just threw that pic on there for an example cause he liked the truck. I told him the design was fantastic but just switch the rig out cause I didn't want a random truck in it lol

 

Trying to get the names on the back of the shirt as well. If your name isn't on the list on the front page of this thread, it will not be on the shirt. Hopefully I can get everyone's names on it if he has enough time, so if you plan on being there and wanting a T with your name on it, speak now or forever hold your peace.
