all i used was the plastic dip spray. I cleaned it with soap water and dryed it the started spraying. i didn't use a glossifier cuz i didn't want it to be glossy. The badge i bought from the dealer or you can buy it from Amazon. Mine was with double sided tape and i put screwed a bracket in the back and i cut the red and white from the ted badge.IMG_2189.jpg

plannin on doing my grille black in the next couple weeks...and then wheels later on. can anyone speak on differences between using glossifier and satinizer? i think im going to go with the satinizer as glossifier might be too flashy for me and im not sure which option will match the other black trim on the truck best

I'm going to plastidip my badges and grill, but can't decide whether to top it off with a couple coats of glossifier. Anybody use the glossifier over black and then wish they didn't?

Unsure about the color combo... tried to go for a darker gray on the outline and emblem.. still not sure if I like it

emblem looks nice that color. Personally I would do the bezel black like the rest of the grille. Leave the emblem, I dig how it sets it apart. I'll be respaying mine and may look at something similar to yours. Nice job.

I dipped my badges last weekend with my daughter (wife calls it our truck art project), then had to leave town. Yesterday I noticed that the outside of one the badges wasn't completely dipped. Any opinions on whether I should pull it all off this badge and restart, or can I add a coat or 3 (the latter being much easier)?

    What a fun truck!
Pull it off an restart. Otherwise you will have funky contour lines.

I'm curious if anyone who has dipped their wheels has gone through a metro car wash or similar car wash place that has a tire buffer brush that shines tires? If so how do the dipped wheels hold up on it? Does rub it off?

    Thx

Are you still rocking the Plasti dipped fender flares? If so, how are they holding up? Any issues?

Shit that looks nice I've been debating doing that to my grille but wasn't sure how it would look with the MGM. Was it just regular black plastidip?
